OTHER FINISHES
We offer a variety of extra finishing options to suit your business or design requirements.
FOIL STAMPING
Foil stamping uses heat and metallic foils to create a shiny metallic finish.
It gives a touch of elegance and creates a brilliant unique appearance.
It is commonly used to enhance typography or logos and available in a variety of colours including gold, rose gold, silver, bronze, hologram, red, blue, green and so on.
EMBOSSED / DEBOSSED
Embossing creates images or design features to be raised above the surface of the paper.
This is done by heat pressing into the paper without any use of ink or foil.
It gives a strong texture feel and in some cases 3 dimensional visual effects.
Debossing is the opposite effect of embossing by depressing the print. It gives the same fell but the paper is pressed in instead of popping out.
The reverse side of the paper will be affected by both embossing and debossing processes.
LASER CUT
Laser Cutting uses high-power laser to cut and/or engrave pre-determined areas cleanly and accurately.
Please be aware that the reverse side may get slightly tanned or burnt after the process. To minimise this we recommend adding printed background colour on the reverse side or choosing craft paper stocks.
SCORING
Scoring refers to the process of making a crease in paper so it can be folded easily.
Scoring also helps improving the appearances of the folds as it provides consistent guidelines as well as reduces the risks for the paper to crack or buckle.
